Redcliff Safety Report

Security situation deteriorating in Redcliff residential areas bordering the old ZISCO steel works. Vandals and criminal elements have moved into abandoned plant structures and are active in nearby streets after dark. Burglaries reported on Morrison, Webb and Steel roads. Ensure perimeter security is intact and report suspicious individuals immediately to ZRP Kwekwe.

The Redcliff-Kwekwe road has severe pothole damage in the 3km stretch approaching Redcliff from the north. Several tyre blowouts reported this week. Road surface collapse is most severe near the 200m before the Redcliff turn-off sign. Reduce speed significantly and stay in the left lane.
