Borrowdale Road between Sam Levy Village and Borrowdale Racecourse is a known late-night mugging corridor. Pedestrians have been targeted between 8pm-11pm. The road is poorly lit in sections and criminals use the bush on the eastern side as cover. Take taxis after dark rather than walking this stretch.
